Hola mis amigos!
Hola mis amigos! Un mojito por favour. Muchos gracias.
The reason for the Spanish? Well if you read my previous post you will know that I’m currently in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. I’m sat on the balcony writing this on my phone cos the husband is watching football on his phone (it’s his birthday so he can pretty much do what he wants today) so apologies if the formatting is dodgy or if my silly phone autocorrects anything.
We are half way through our holiday and after a slightly bumpy start (we weren’t seated together on the plane and then said plane was already an hour late leaving Manchester when some idiot got kicked off the plane for cracking open his duty free alcohol, resulting in a 2.5 hour delay where we sat on the runway with no entertainment…Smart) things soon started to look up, despite the minor jet lag (four am starts were the norm for the first few days).
The hotel is lovely with a great selection of food, the locals are a delight and the weather has been perfect. Originally we planned on sticking to the hotel but after 24 hours our feet started itching and we’ve already explored the area way more than we thought we would.
The husband and I are both feeling a hell of a lot more relaxed than we did when we left and the old batteries are well and truly recharged. I’ve got loads of photos and tips and stories to share here on the old blog once I’m back so for now, I’m signing out.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
