The Friday Five #2

Morning y'all. Today I got my Christmas bonus, it's Christmas jumper day (or creepy Christmas jumper day in my case - the more I look at it the more I'm starting to think the sloth looks like a sex pest) and it's the last full Frday at work before the big day itself. Everyone's in a good mood and I am so ready for a few days off stuffing my face and seeing my family.

Shall we see what's made my top 5 this week?

SEEING MY GRANDPARENTS ON MY DADS SIDE
On Saturday, my sister my niece and I packed up the car and tootled down the road to Skipton to see our grandma, grandad and brother. I haven't seen them in ageeees so it was nice to go visiting, albeit a little bit terrifying as it was my first time driving with Ivy in the car. We stayed for a few hours; my Grandma made us a banging cheese toastie, my Grandad and I had a love in over the wonders of Scotland and yeah, it was lovely and I need to stop being so lazy and make my way there a bit more often.

SPENDING TIME WITH IVY
If I'm gunna be honest, I think I'm completely missing the maternal instinct as I have zero interest in babies/kids but my niece Ivy is pretty cool. I got to spend loads of time with her last weekend and she's just so funny - My parents have four dogs and I think their behaviour is rubbing off on her 'cos she's started to growl like a puppy dog when she's playing haha! Aswell as this she seemed enraptured by my sparkly River Island bag and it looks like she might have inherited some magpie tendencies from her Auntie Jess.

GETTING TICKETS TO SEE THE VIEW IN FEBRUARY
For those of you not in the know, Scottish band The View are my all time, number one favourite band. I saw them three times this year (twice in Scotland) and. I just love 'em. Seriously if they gigged every night, I would probably go. They announced 4 dates at King Tut's in Glasgow and unfortunately I could only go to one show due to being unable to get the time off work. One show is better than no shows though and now I am counting down the days until I get to see them again.

RECEIVING MY CHRISTMAS BONUS <3
I work for a really great company and aswell as getting a Christmas do, we also got a pretty snazzy Christmas bonus. We've all worked super hard this year so it's nice to be rewarded for it. I'm torn over wether this should go into my savings or be used to treat myself so chances are I will probably do half and half.

ALL THE PARCELS
This week I've had a tonne of parcels and whilst most of it was the last few bits I needed to get my family for Christmas, there were a couple of cheeky presents in there for me. I've got a new curb chain choker from Regal Rose and a little box of goodies from ASOS. I've actually been really good this month and I've hardly bought anything for myself so I felt justified in buying myself a few bits that I've been after for a while.

Jody also got a parcel this week - FROM MAC. I dunno what the boyf's bought me but big points to him.
