Good Morning all! First up, how cute is this pin? It's from illustrator Veronica Dearly and is part of her 'pin commandments' monthly subscription club. If you're a pin fan, go have a nosy. Secondly, how weird has the weather been this week? Hot, cold, wet, hot, cold, wet...MAKE UP YOUR MIND SO I CAN SLEEP PLEASE.
On that note, onwards with this week's catch up.
Today marks 15 years since the day nearly 3000 people lost their lives in the USA and it's still as heart breaking now as it was then. I remember getting in from school aged 9 and seeing two towers on fire on the TV. I don't really remember anything else but I remember it was on every single channel. I didn't know it at the time but that was the day the world changed forever. RIP.
On New Opportunities
This week I have an opportunity (in real life) that I never thought I would. I don't want to go into any detail but it's an ambition of mine and has been for a long time so I'm really hoping I don't f*ck it up. I'm really stressed out and nervous about it so I've been practising my Woosa's and trying to do activities that chill me out and take my mind off it like walking and reading. It's not really working but by this time next week hopefully I'll know where I stand and will calm down a bit.
On Bake Off: Bread Week
Before we settled down to watch bread week Jody and I both said we probably wouldn't get any cravings like we do with cake/biscuit week but boy were we wrong. We ended up pausing it half way through and going to the Co-Op for some chocolate brioche. I know Val's a bit rubbish but I'm so glad she pulled through this week and I'm hoping that BBC see the love for her and give her her own show. It doesn't have to be about good bakes, just her pottering around talking to herself in the kitchen will suffice.
It's a short one I'm afraid but this coming week I'm going to Friends Fest and Glasgow so next week will be a bit more action packed. Have a nice week!
