The Sunday Catch Up #28

yorkshire sunset

Good day you lovely lot! This post is a bit late because I went on an 8 mile walk this morning (something I don't usually do - trust me) and I've been lounging around all afternoon complaining about my aches and pains.  It was really nice to get up and out on a Sunday for once but I don't think I will be making a habit of it.

Onwards with the catch up!

On Biffy Clyro
Biffy Clyro is one of Jody and I's bands' - The day we met we thought we had nothing in common until he found Biffy on my Ipod and that was it, now we've been together for nearly seven years. Anyway they released tickets for their Ellipsis tour this week and I managed to get my paws on some for the one in Leeds. This will be the 4th time we have seen them and I can't wait.

On Primark Bedding
Don't you just love Primark bedding? They have some really cool designs and at such cheap prices you would be mad not to get your duvet sets from there. I have the doughnut set already but we've just bought another pink/blue/orange stripy set to add a bit of colour to the room. I really wanted the Grumpy Cat bedding but they didn't have it in king size at our local Primark, boo!

On Rediscovering my Love for Books
As a child I constantly had my nose buried in a book, my favourite thing to do at Christmas was circle all the books I wanted in the WH Smith Catalogue and wait patiently for Santa to drop them off. I'd then spend all day reading, wolfing down my lunch so I could get back to my book. As I got older I found interests outside of books and stopped reading quite as much, until I moved to Australia when I stopped altogether. I recently picked up a Fiction book for the first time in ages and now I'm completely re-engrossed in the world of literature.

Hope you had a lovely weekend
