Five random thoughts I've had about turning 24

A photo taken shortly after my 23rd birthday in Perth.

I turn 24 tomorrow. I'm in the South of Thailand now so I'm hoping my birthday will involve some beach time. And steak.

It's my second birthday away from home and birthdays just aren't the same without my Mum's balloon and cake delivery.

Surely at the age of 24 I should stop wearing t-shirts with Disney characters on and buying bags in the shape of animals?

I'm a grown up now. WHY AM I STILL GETTING SPOTS?!?!?!?!?

Is it bad that I'm looking forward to building up a cute and kitsch homeware collection when I eventually go home? Is this an age thing?

Thailand's cool but I'm sick of packing and un-packing. And everything being creased. And carrying my stupid, shitty backpack around. I'm definitely getting older.

  1. I'm 24 this year as well and have been thinking the same about the spots - I thought they were supposed to stop at 20!! Also agreed about the homeware collection, I have recently been getting way too excited about moving into my own place and choosing my own things, must be an age thing! Xx

  2. Happy Birthday, Jess, I hope you have a lovely day! It's definitely not bad that you're looking forward to putting a homeware collection together, I'm excited to do the same when I move later this year :) xx
