Being unemployed is starting to get old. I was in the process of getting a job hairdressing but due to my visa and age I couldn't go for the position I wanted. Que a few tears and a strop from me. Buuuut I gave myself a shake, signed onto some recruitment agencies for temp work and I'm hoping to hear about some work this week.
Everyone is at work now (Jody has a job at least, wooo) so I'm home alone trying to stay occupado, meaning lot's of blog idea's and a spotless bedroom.
Anyways here are some of the things I've been loving this week!
KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS
It makes me want to hang my head in shame admitting this but I LOVE the Kardashians. I haven't got a job yet so this past week I've been the only one in the house and I flicked this on 'cos I was bored and there was nothing else on - I got completely sucked in to their crazy lifestyles and now I can't miss it. Faves are Scott and Khloe for sure.
'DARK PLACES' BY GILLIAN FLYNN
From the author of 'Gone Girl', this was one of the books she wrote previously. I picked it up from K Mart and I DEVOURED it. I found Gone Girl pretty hard to get into but I pretty much swallowed this one whole. Intense stuff.
TYPO JOURNAL AND PEN ($20 & $7)
Just like every 20 something female, I'm a sucker for stationary. I love owls and I couldn't just leave this little dude could I? I'm like a magpie when it comes to glitter so I got this journal to hoard my blog idea's in, rather than writing a half arsed post and forgetting about it.
THE MAN BUN
Dude, I feel like Mulan with my hair like this. Everybody else seems to be doing it so why not me? My hair's at that awkward, annoying length where it just kind of hangs not doing a great deal so sticking some of it in a crappy bun makes it a bit more fun. I have sticky out ears aswell so this is great for keeping my hair from killing me in the heat AND it hides my ears - Winner.
